Need help for DeWalt 7770 RAS motor wiring. Months ago, I opened this motor case to replace shaft bearings, I didn't take note of the original wiring (as I have the original manuals with wiring diagrams), but… today I see the wires in diagram are not the same as the ones on my motor : diagram shows black, white, red, brown and yellow coming from the motor winding but mine only has 3 wires (black, white and green). All I remember is the neutrals (white) where spliced together in the original connection. May be not the original 7770 motor? Anyone can tell me the right way to reconnect everything?

That is a 2 pole 1phase induction motor, which appears to be using an internal start relay.
See if you can identify the two windings, one will be much lower resistance than the other, if so the first would be the Run winding, the second the start., which would be swiched by the start relay.
Its about 3/4 HP.

Thanks! Wiring problem solved. The wiring shematic in my DeWalt 7770 manual was the wrong one; found the right one on the Web.

With only three wires and one of them green, for body safety ground, it appears that the external connections are LINE, Neutral, and Safety ground. I hope that you are able to reassemble the motor so that it spins freely
