I found a blog that shows how to build a digital clock using ICs cd4060 and cd4026. https://danyk.cz/hodiny_en.html This is the site. I have checked if my ICs are working and they are. The only output I'm getting is the every 7 segment display shows 0 and the the two decimal points blink every second. But i can change what the display shows or anything.Help please

hi B,
Welcome to AAC.
Using a DVM, check the voltage on pin #1 on IO2 /4026, it should be switching high /low at every 1 Second.
This will check that the 4060 is running.

Also, do the decimal points flash faster when TL1 or TL2 are pressed ?
The fact that the decimal points are flashing suggests that the 4060 and 4026 IO2 are working.

Assuming it is all wired correctly the 7 segment displays used look to be common cathode are your displays correct and not common anode? Everything else seems to have been mentioned. Keep in mind a single error in the rats nest of wiring will spell frustration and grief.

I think the TS has lost interest. It is 12 days since the original post and he has not responded to any of the suggestions or questions.
