Im looking to identify a component marked as "KG457M" 8-pins, its probably some kind of a diode array since it has D3 label on the board.

Is that 8-pin DIL, 8-pin SOIC or something smaller? Does it have a manufacturer's logo? A photo might help.

I have identified the component, it is ECMf02-4cmx8 common mode filter with ESD protection for USB2.0 interface by STM.

The D3 label just there to confuse?

 

Not to confuse!! D3= Device #3! Like a detailer once put on a drawing E.T #1 and E.T.#2. Electrical Thing#1 and #2.

 

KiCad labels all my thyristors as "D". (D for diode, diode=rectifier, thyristor = controlled rectifier, perhaps)

It also labels relays as K and crystals as Y. Relays have always been RL and crystals X to me.
