Can someone tell about this component what it is ? This is part of a 12v ac to dc charger. The one which is placed horizontal.

The grey cylinder in your photo is an axial ferrite bead. This is used for high frequency noise suppression and is just a wire with the ferrite surrounding it. It should measure as 0Ω (or the same as the shorted leads on the meter which may be higher than 0).

Thank you @ Ya’akov. Yes it measures ~0ohms bidirectionally. I was suspecting a very small value resistor. I never would have guessed for ferrite bead. Thank you for prompt response.
