On my previous thread, I really want to find a replacement of a U1 component, now I take a new closer look photo of that component but it have a missing parts of manufacturer code, please help identifying this component.

 

As stated on the previous thread, its some form of integrated switched-mode power supply controller working directly off the rectified AC mains. If that has failed so spectacularly there's a good chance there are other damaged or severely stressed parts on the board so replacing it is likely to result in the same thing happening again.

That said, an extensive search hasn't thrown up anything remotely similar in that modified SOIC8-7 or SO-7 or SO-8-7 or other variant package so I suspect its one of the many far east OEM specials.

Others may have better luck...
