what is RFC(radio frequency choke) and y is it used in Hartleys Oscillator circuits(BJT) instead of a collector resistance??

Thanks in advance:):)

A choke is an inductance. An inductance has a high reactance (impedance) at high frequencies. It passes DC current very well but is a high impedance at high frequencies.

Makes the circuit more efficient. The resistor is a dissipative load at all frequencies concerned.

The inductor is a reactive load and doesn't dissipate power

You can also resonate the collector inductance with a suitable capacitance and get a cleaner signal.
