Tony, THAT answer is easy: Just a bit more than a cubic yard, which equates to 27 cubic feet, or about 110 big shovel fulls, if it is wet sand.. Also, it is about a ton of river sand.

OK, I am way to used to job oriented thinking, and so a cubic meter hole comes across as the requirement for a cubic meter hole. So you "got me" this time. Oh Well.
