I have an estimote beacon which is having a GPIO output. I actually want to drive 230 VAC lamp from this GPIO. I have a made a circuit ,before putting it in action requesting your people review and comments . If I want to produce the unit in bulk [ To a PCB board and package it ] what is the best guide lines to follow.

I am attaching the below document s,

1. Circuit which I made
2. data sheet of the Estimote BLE

My general Quries are

a. Do I need to supplu 3.3 V on the Vcc In pin to get the voltage elivated on hte base of the transister. Or just BLE itself can drive the transister
b. Any other protection circuit required for the same
c. If I want to make it in a PCB what are the guidlines,
d. 5Vdc Supply to the Relay what is the current rating . Which regulator I can use for this ,
e. Resister rating fine ?

I might be asking stupid questions, Lets throw some lights on my confused mind.

Thanks in advance,,

Personally I would have considered a logic level Mosfet such as the 2n7000.
The relay does not have to be 5v if no other 5v device present, also the power supply for it does not necessarily have to be regulated..

Thank u Max,

That was very helpful, I will go with Mosfat 2n7000 ,

I have one more question if I go with 3.3Vdc realy to with load upto 230VAC which miniature relay I can choose with PCB Pins.

There is a large selection, depending on what the current draw of the device, I see it is a resistive load so your options should be many.
