Hi All
So, I am looking to create a lab type PSU by using the internal PSU from an old unused PC. The PSU I have is a FSP-250-60GEN type which was taken from an old Packard Bell PC I have here.
Now - stupid me, I took the PSU out of the PC without taking any note of any of the connections, or where they came from! Also, when I plug the PSU in to the mains I get no Vout at any of the pins. So, I am wondering if there's some contacts or logic input required for it to 'power up' as it were, though I can't seem to locate a datasheet anywhere for this model.
It's a long shot, but here's a pic of the cables in the unit.
There is a pair of thin cables (black/purple) in the smaller connector (top right of pic) and I am wondering if this might be the switch or logic connections?
Can any good folk here offer me any advice please?
