I have created a dual-stage pre-amp for my guitar:
Guitar -> BS170 (common source) -> BS170 (common source) -> volume pot
I would like to know if it's possible to feed part of the signal from the source of the 2nd BS170 to the input of the 1st BS170 to introduce negative feedback. From what I can see in LTSpice and from what I can hear, it seems to work as expected. Gain is slightly reduced, but the bandwidth seems to be more stabile.

 

To be effective in achieving the benefits of feedback, (the gain without feedback)/(gain with feedback) should be >10... This is called the feedback factor, and is discussed here.
