Do people not read I don't think I could write any clearer that that if you have 2 outlets surely there wiring would be sized
for a load of that size.
But I said that would need to be checked even if they used 18 awg at 240 that 16 amps.
I can't see from here but I would say the wire is a bit bigger 16 or 14 awg but even 18 he could use a small AC unit
most are like 8 to 10 amps.
BUT then agin he needs to look at the wire size and breaker.

The wire can not be sized for 6 amps each outlet is 6 amps for a total of 4
that's 24 amps the wiring is sized at 70 % of that they figure you would have no more then 2 used outlets At a time.
From that that pdf it said you wire boxes for 16 amps then it tell what you can do like the one shown he can take all the outlets out and fix like the one he said he had where he doesn't want the AC unit.
