Good thing I remembered to push a jumper through every hole where it went.

I could hardly get the jumper pin into most of the holes!

If you like bending IC pins go ahead and just put your IC's in a BPS breadboard before doing this.

Our other breadboards jumpers and PIC's just go right in.

On these BPS ones the clamps or contacts are VERY tight in the holes.

So it's a good idea to 'pre insert' or open up the contacts before trying to put IC's in there.

Just to be even minded about it .

They are in the whole well made.

The markings in red and blue are handy when you start getting stupid working on a project for too long.

So you don't dead short the power supply.

It's just the first time you put a PIC in one for example.

A little birdie tells you just forcing down on it is 'a bad thing'.

We will keep getting them.

 

That's funny I got one of those It's good maybe the best one I have but I never bent a pin on chip I've had a time with some cheap resistors

Had to fight with this one to get the jumper wire in all the holes where the PIC was going.

Note. These are BPS jumper wires with pins on end. That's what it takes to push it in.

Lot of resistance right at the start.

Feels like it's on top of clip and is not going to go in at all.

Then they go in.

Will report how the next couple of boards work.

Getting them from same supplier.

 

Those breadboards are faulty. Julian Ilett mentioned it in a YouTube video.

I've purchased several solderless breadboards from China and two of them had the faulty connectors so I got a refund.
