Heya,
I have a Bosch washing machine that isn't working properly (motor starts and stops straight away). Thought I'd have a look at the mainboard (power module) and found scorching around one chip. I cannot Identify it but it seems to have shielding around it for heat?
Is it possible to identify this chip without being able to read the print on it?

The part number is bosch 11005213

I have little knowledge of electronics but am keen to learn.

 

Ok. Have just worked out that it's a Triac transistor common in washing machines for motor control. But I still can't identify the type.

 

Most Triacs ive found in washing machines are 400V @ 8Amp. I would check the motor with a blown Triac.

Thanks for the advice. Never having tested a motor b4 I assume it's just a matter of testing the windings with a multimeter and...
