Doeth.

And when some one has to say it twice in the thread, AND start a PM with me over it, I think I was within my bounds to post what I did. Sorry if it hurt someones feelings, they don't think twice about mine.

OK. Your input is acceptable. I concede I may have been wrong. It's just that I've heard "Doeth" spoken. As sometimes happens pronunciations don't always go correctly. One quick word as example is "Nuclear", often said as "Nucular". And it's not limited to poorly educated people. I've seen people in high places make such fo-pa's. (that may be another)

Actually, I think I heard the mispronounced version on an episode of "MacGiver".

I've seen people in high places make such fo-pa's.

If you wrote "fo-pa's" (in scare quotes), this sentence would have been more ironic. As it stands, it's just another error for the pedantic to point out.

I just like busting on Shortbus.

The problem with wrestling with a pig: you both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Someone needs to remove their politics colored glasses and see that a cigar is sometimes just a cigar.

It can confuse people “into accidentally ingesting a potentially deadly product.”

faux pas = false pass literarily translated from French to English, as in to err, make a mistake, usually in reference to social etiquettes, such as showing up for black tie formal affair wearing a glitzy ostentatious High School prom tux

and faux fur is NOT Fox fur.

...and faux fur is NOT Fox fur.

But it could be faux fox fur (say fast 5 times!).

This is used a lot in south. When a word is spelled like Nu-clear (New clear) it can be spoken/pronounced according to the dialect of that region.
George W. pronounced it "nuclur" if I'm not mistaken, a Texas twist on the word.
We also use ain't and yuontto (you want to) pronounced "Yu-ont-to"
Brzrkr

Always loved the Brits saying Alu-min-ium although I have no idea where that last I came from. Here in Dixie we tend to drop the G on the end of words, gettin, fixin, tryin, etc. Then there is bat-ter-ree vs. bat-tree. Po-tay-toh, po-tah-toh, con-troll vs. cun-troll. Had a teacher that drove me further nuts saying cun-krete instead of con-krete. Only person I ever met using that pronunciation.

So - what? You saying you want to wrestle?

I've been picking up luninum cans for extra cash.

Ever use "Widga-didga"? As in "You didn' bring your truck Widga-didga?"

Alu-min-ium

Al You Minnie-um. Or Meethane?

Or in Brit and Australia "We're going oite tonight." We're going OUT tonight!

It's all in fun. Like driving a Jag Gu Are fun.

So - what? You saying you want to wrestle?

Every time I try, my posts get deleted. Unlike some other pigs.

Are we going Orwellian again?

Is hell exothermic or endothermic?

Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant.

So, if hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.

Of course, if hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, than the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over."

You missed the last part:

So which is it ? If we accept the postulate given to me by Ms. Therese Banyan during my Freshman year that "It will be a cold night in Hell before I sleep with you," and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then (2) cannot be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic.

Well, the Saints (locally known as the Aints) did win the Super Bowl making local prognosticators surmise that Hell had indeed frozen over.

So which is it ?

Damm I'm afraid to answer but you sound like a digital engineer (well, there will be some, one day) old digital engineers never die, they only lose their most significant bits .

That's why I persue female electrical engineers.Female electrical engineers become irresistible at the age of consent and remain that way until about thirty minutes after their clinical death. Longer if it's a warm day.
