What happened to hitting the brakes and pulling the bus over to your side of the road? Look at the video at slow speed. IMO the 'vibe' from the drivers focus and body posture is pure anger and deliberation as the bus crashes over the edge. Not saying it's 100% sure but I've seen that look before.

Agreed. He slaps her away and then turns left at a time when he should have full control. Why? He doesn't seem to try to pull right again until after impact.

 

Maybe he tried to pull over and crash-park the bus, thinking he could blame it on the woman, but then he miscalculated in his rage...
