Speaking of which, as I was getting ready this morning for my trip to Nashville (see pertinent thread), I remembered I had to sync my lap with my desktop so I could get some work done while on the trip. And as soon as I turned on my lap, the thing "froze" by showing the same screen for THREE HOURS before it became responsive again. I mean, the mouse pointer worked and also the task manager, but other than that, the stupid thing started working on an "update" without bothering to ask me first if I was ok with that. And on top of that, it didn't even bother to show me an "update being applied" message or anything.Is that the latest Windows release in the jar?
