It Works!!
Thank you so much for all your help.

For some reason if I stop the actuator half way and try to restart it, it wont move, either way. But if I bypass the relay, from the power supply directly to the actuator it works fine

I just unplugged the power supply and tried plugging it back in.
It only works if the piston is fully extended or closed.
If its at any other position you can hear a slight noise, like the gears inside the actuator turning very slow.
If I run straight power from the power supply to the actuator it will work wherever I stop it.

That doesn't seem to make much sense. Connecting it via the relay connects it to the power supply just the same.
Maybe the power supply doesn't like being turned off and on again too quickly.
Turn it off at half stroke and leave it for as long as it would take you to reconnect the wires but leave the wires alone and see what happens when you turn it on again.

I am working on a project that uses a linear actuator. I am trying to find a module/relay or something that will change the polarity each time I plug in the power supply.
The actuator has 2 wires, the power supply has 2 wires. I just need something to put between them that will change the polarity. But I cant use anything that has a switch or button. It has to switch polarity each time I plug in the power supply.

Actuator Specs - 12DC , Full Load 12 Amps, Built in Limit Switches

I hope someone can help me out, Thank you
This is kind of the same problem that I am having except I want to use a photo I to open a door in in the morning and close the door at night, but I haven’t been able to find a relay that is reversing the polarity of the motor that has built-in limits
