I have watched this one many times and it still amazes me.

Forget all that anthropomorphism on the part of the announcer...even forget that it looks like a relatively small cobra. That mongoose is one FAST dude. As I recall, and I am far too lazy to check at the moment, human reaction time can be under 100 ms under certain conditions (e.g., release a button in response to an auditory stimulus). I would like to know how fast that mongoose is....he appears to be a few inches from the snake at times and still able to back up just out of reach in reaction to a strike. Plus, he seems to be something of a joker...walking away at one point kind of whistling with his paws behind his back..."nothing going on here...just out for a stroll."

Absolutely amazing engineering!
