I just created a YouTube CH. and made a Banner image.

The Banner is a Yellow Square and inside it says a Name.

I export it as JPG 24 Bit and make it 2048 X 1152 Pixels like YouTube tells you.

If I go and open my CH. on another Device that I am not loged in on the Banner goes right to the Top and Bottom and the inside Name I put in the middle of the Yellow square is all the way up at the edge.

So I make my Yellow square a lot taller and do it again.

YouTube still put my Yellow square all the way outside the border and the Name I put in the Yellow Box is still very tall to the edge.

Because my Yellow Box is wider and taller then the Name I put in the middle when I export as 2048 X 1152 these numbers should start at the edge of my Yellow Box I made for my image.

Why is it not Displaying it right?

Although the recommended size is 2048 x 1152 pixels, YouTube only displays specific sections of that image depending on the screen size and device type. The safe area is 1546 x 423 pixels in the center of the image. The full 2048 x 1152 pixels image is only shown on TVs.

OK I made an image it is a square that is Red and 2. Eyeballs in the center.

The square is a little bigger so this should be ok.

I export it as 1546 X 423 and it tells me to make it 1024 X 576 so I have to.

It still it Crops my image to the Top and Bottom of the Eyeballs.

There is 3. Tabs to pick from Display On TV the next Tab is Display on DeskTop the next Tab Display On All Devices.

I always pick Display On All Devices.

Is this not Right?

Did you check if your banner looks good on different devices and screen sizes? Also, have you looked into how YouTube formats banners on their platform?
