How to repair Android phone with accuracy and quality?
How to protect other components from hot gun heat while working on one component?I got a cheap hot air machine and it makes removing smd components very much easier and with less risk of damage to the board and the surrounding components. I still use a soldering iron to place components on the board.
Polyimide film tape also helps. How to protect other components from hot gun heat while working on one component?
But in this option it is very prone to melt plastic cover and nearby components, as the temp of blower / hot gun around 350 or 500 deg c.Polyimide film tape also helps.
The tape or thin foil taped to the PCB will act as a heat barrier to reduce the transmission of heat to what's below. But in this option it is very prone to melt plastic cover and nearby components, as the temp of blower / hot gun around 350 or 500 deg c.
