Hello Everyone,
I have a gw instek MDO-2204EG oscilloscope. I'm using waveform averaging function to average my data 32 times. How to know when the averaging is complete and when to save the file?

Check in the manual on signal averaging. Usually the signal is not displayed until the averaging is complete.

...so the averaging is a continuous process. You can sample anytime after delaying long enough to allow the required number of cycles to be averaged.
Thanks. I hope it should not take long right? Even 256 averages should be completed within 10 seconds or even faster right?

I can't answer your question because I am not familiar with your scope. You might be able figure it out by consulting the manual, or better yet, you can try it and see what it looks like.
