Just checking if anyone has info on wire marking systems, that apply a coloured stripe along an insulated wire. 16 gauge is typical, but can be 20 - 8 gauge. We are doing automotive wiring and want to keep color inventory from expanding. Currently apply ink in a hand drawn fixture, far from ideal. Needs to apply a variety of colours.

 

Ummm... Belden Wire and Cable can provide striped wires already done or made to your specification. Has to be cheaper than doing it yourself by hand... Belden.com
