I have Win11 DeskTop System.

I have a USB Blu Ray DVD Drive.

I plug the Drive in and a window opens and I give the Disc a Name.

Then I put a Dot in Use Disc in any Computer then I click next.

Then it open a Blank window telling me to Drag Files here to Burn.

I Drag Files to the window but I see no See More Tab at the Top of the screen that they say the Burn to Disc Tab will be in.

I do see my Blu Ray Drive in the Top Center so it is selected.

If I go to the Far Right I see 3. Dots.

I click this and the Drop Down list comes Down and one of the options is Burn to Disc.

I click this and my CD DVD ROM Drive Build into the System opens.

Why will my Blu Ray Drive not Burn the Data?

It could be that win 11 is not supported.
On the last picture it says Win 10, Win8 and win7.

From the add next to the pictures:
Support WIN XP，VISATA，WIN7，WIN8，WIN10, MAC OS.

Optical drives are so last decade! Why?!

 

I did something and I think this may help give more information so somebody can help me.

I just pluged my Blu Ray DVD Burner in to my USB port.

Now I open my Movie Studio 15 program and Load all my Video Files.

This program has a Tab Make DVD.

I click it and it walks me through and it Burned the Video Files as a DVD to the Blank SL DVD.

After it was over I take the DVD out of my Blu Ray DVD Drive and put it into my computers CD DVD ROM Drive.

It plays it in VLC.

So I know my Blu Ray DVD Burner does work.

This is what makes me think it is a setting in Win11 that wont let me Burn Data like Photos and MP3s and Documents to a Blank SL DVD..

 

Try the free program Imgburn. I've successfully burned everything from enhanced CDs to dual-layer DVDs and dual-layer Blu-rays. Oh, and make sure the firmware in your Blu-ray writer is the latest version.
