Did you notice the dates on the posts in this thread? And did you notice the "last seen" dates on the discussion's participants (you get this information by hovering your mouse pointer over the person's username in the sidebar of each post)?
This thread is ANCIENT. It began and ended almost eleven years ago, and many of the participants in it are not even on AAC anymore, including the thread starter, who hasn't been on AAC in nearly 8 years.
So you don't end up talking to thin air (and perhaps looking a bit foolish), it's a good idea to always take a look at the dates of a discussion before deciding to add a comment.
