Hi,
I just received some Microchip Pics, and when I ordered them I saw in the package section, tray, T/R or tube. I chose package, and my 5x pics arrived in a foot long tray, and they wouldn't go through the letter box.
I've got to order some more, and want to know what to expect with Tube and T/R, before I order.
Anybody know?

For 5 parts my preference, if its available, would be 'tube'. I find that the peel-off lid of the 'tape' packaging tends to come unstuck over time, leading to parts ending up outside the safety of the static safe tape.

. . . and inside the bottom of the drawer, where they become difficult to identify!
Usually for small quantities, the small length of tape & reel is rolled up and put in an antistatic bag.
