Just received a package from UPS. It had this lumpy label on it so I opened it up. It appears to have a CR2032 battery and a circuit board.

Aside from using the battery for something else, is there any practical use for any of the electronics? Could I build a space shuttle out of it?
The main chip is N52810....QCAAD1....2224GS. U5 is marked TA4. U4 (4 pin chip) is marked:

It is way too small for anything I can do with it. Same goes for resistors and capacitors. Even the crystal (X1 at the top of the board) is too small for anything I could do.

Any thoughts? Anyone see anything like this?

The N52810 is a 2.4GHz Bluetooth device from Nordic Semiconductors, part of the nRF52 series of devices. It runs on 1.7 - 3.6v and supports Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 @ 2Mbps. It contains a 64 MHz ARM® Cortex-M4 CPU with 192 KB Flash program memory and 24 KB RAM.

Its likely the software on there is locked and inaccessible, however its possible the device can be erased and re-programmed, though would have little use, as is, with no peripherals.

What its original purpose was, it anyone's guess. Was it a high-value item being transported?

It was a critical item that had to arrive at the right place at the right time, or earlier.

I don't expect to do anything with it. I was just curious if it's worth venturing into playing with it. I don't even have the tools to handle such small SMD items, thought I could get them. But without a real purposeful use - I don't see a reason to undergo that expense. It was a matter of curiosity.

BTW: Idi you mean "N52810"?
