there are many of these on e-bay. they are made in China. I have received one but have no information on how to use it.
I will be using a program on the Arduino nano board to control it.
In the horizontal direction it moves in complete circles taking a minute for one revolution. I see no problem here in controlling its horizontal movement with my program.
The problem I am having is with the vertical movement. With positive battery to red motor moves solar panel support to hit motor unless it is stopped probably by using the limit switches.
The reverse direction is clear of obstruction. I reversed the battery connection to the motor to get movement in this direction. It only moved a short distance before stopping. Not what I expected.
Is anybody on this forum familiar with this device? Where can I get full instructions on how to use it?

Stop and think about how much vertical motion is actually required. That will be for the seasonal adjustment if the system is correctly set up. And certainly the motion should be limited by limit switches.
There is an intrinsic hazard of no support at all, nor any provided information, with many on-line suppliers,as has been mentioned many times in this site. What you would be buying is a copy of some other product, not a product designed by the distributor.
