Uh, red preserves night vision. Cockpit lighting on planes is red for that reason. It is blue light that causes the pupils to contract.Went to blue to conserve night vision.

Guy, you are lucky not to have the blues.Ah well... You do know that I am colorblind to red/green. Hence blue is my goto! And it matches the color used in the meter on my manual antenna tuner as well.
