I have ordered some of these for reselling, as they are popular.
And most of them are already sold off.
So a few weeks ago I ordered a large box of NE555 DIY kits too, arrived yesterday.
Had to assemble one of course. It makes noises! I used a small SMD 8 Ohms speaker which heats up and draws too much current from a 9v battery, so I tried inlining two 1500uH coils. Still heating up but not that much.
If I hold the coils together, I can hear interference!
Bought some 4017 DIY kits and they all have sold, reordered more of course. And selling them together with better LEDs.
Together with the small Audio transformers which also arrived yesterday, I could offer a MAG AMP experimentation kit- just I think it's a lost art somehow.
Of course also include small bulbs, diodes and so on, some wire potentiometers...
