EDIT: FYI Ladrones = Thieves ... not sure I like the name much

 

A pretty good mix: heavy rock, rockish hip hop, and some rockish traditional, sounds like.

Today is the first show of their USA tour.

But other than rain, any other inconvenience?

Well, yeah.

Having to lift 300 lb. sweaty, almost naked, crowd surfers over your head while trying to listen to the music (without getting crushed) is pretty annoying. That, and the rudeness of the dozens-at-a-time trying push in front of you because they got there late and want a position up front close to the stage -- even though there is absolutely no room left up front. And the six foot jerk wearing a ten gallon hat blocking your view that just has to stand in front of you because, well, I guess there is just nobody else he can stand in front of. Oh, I don't partake in the green stuff, but there is no avoiding the contact buzz from all those smoking around you.

And you can't hear the singers sing -- even with the 100,000 watt sound system -- because everyone in the crowd knows the words to the songs -- and make sure you know they know the words to the songs.

In fact, this is probably the last large-venue general admission festival I'll go to. As much as I like the music, I'm getting too old for this crap.
