I had a Vox da5 that powers up with the battery power source but does not work with the dc jack rated at 12 volts dc.
I added a jumper on the solder side of the board and the amp works with this adjustment. I was wondering if this a safe mod. The red line in the picture represents the mod I made. I temporarily removed the jumper because I was not comfortable with the mod even though it works. Should I use a resistor between these two nodes?
