I'm a newbie in electronics and I'm working on an MP3 reader application.

Everything I found about the GPD2846A are this 2 datasheet files I attached.
On board there is an 8 pin amplifier (the GPD2846A seems suggest the LN4911), but every name on chips was erased.
The IC allows the volume control by pushing buttons, but I want control it by a potentiometer.
So what I'm asking is: how can I insert a potentiometer to control the volume on a speaker like this?
