1 .The totle resistance of a series circuit is 500Ω . what percentage of the totle voltage appears across a 22Ω resistor in a series circuit?

Please explain!

Thanks :confused:

I am getting 4.4% of total voltage appears across 22 Ω resistor of the voltage divider.

Basically. V is your total voltage.
V==100%

Voltage across 22 Ω resistor is (22/500)V, just like jlcstrat said. Then.
(22/500)V==x%
You know value of V, put that value in the equation and crunch the numbers.
