According to voltage divider rule: V L = RL*VS /( RL +RS ) the formula in the picture

1. Are the results identical using 1k Ohms and 100 Ohms as RL? Why?
2. I am wonder that can I use this method to measure the Rs of the microphone or the power supply or the batteries?
if can , how to implement it

thank you

Hello,

Well did you try to calculate VL using your formula?
The formula looks right, so all you have to do is calculate once with 1k and a second time with 100 ohms.
Try that and then see if you can answer question #1.

thank you for replying me, my answer is by the formula , the result is identical
is that right?

And I have no idea to solve second question

thank you for answering me

Let's say that Vs = 10 V and Rs = 500 Ω.

What do you get for Vl when Rl = 100 Ω?

What do you get for Vl when Rl = 1 kΩ?

Are these identical?
