Hi everyone,

This is probably either a simple or a stupid question, but I am new to using Autodesk EAGLE and have designed a circuit in another software using an Infineon BFP520 transistor but I am unable to find this transistor in EAGLE. I need to create a PCB board and I have the rest of the circuit completed in EAGLE but I am unsure as to how I can get this specific transistor into my schematic.

The easiest way to add the transistor is to use an existing transistor in the same package. Just change the value property to match the transistor you want. If you want multiple transistors, change one and then copy it.

Otherwise, you can create your own. Starting with an existing device that's close simplifies the task.
