Yes, probably wishful thinking...I'm trying to troubleshoot 3 of them that gave up the ghost. They seem to be missing components. It appears someone tried to fix them previously but gave up in haste. Also, Q7 is missing on all 3 , I'm trying to figure out what type of smd transistor it is..?

Cheers!

If anyone has any clue as to where I could source a schematic for a UNI-T UT136B Multimeter,
I would be eternally grateful!
My be easier to post a picture of the pcb and highlight the missing parts, and if someone has the same model to post a picture of theirs to compare.

Chances of getting a circuit diagram are remote,...

I've found a lot of working electronic devices with missing components. It appears that the manufacturers used the same PCB for different versions of the same device with different options. Usually "low end" devices.

I have a UT136C that I could try to do some parts matching but, as DodgyDave mentioned, it would be much easier to post a photograph of the offending parts and regions of the meters.

Great meters, these UT136*.* - although Uni-T recently modified them and removed their charm.

Hey there. I have one of these at home. I am just looking inside of it because i broke it and it doesn't measure resistence anymore. And there is nothing on Q7 as well. So this should't be the issue of your device.

There are more missing components like TV1, TV2, ZV, PTC2, R7, D5, C2, C13, C14 and L1. So these components are not needed for proper working of this version.
