UHF capacity hat antenna?

Can anyone recognise this antenna? I Think it's just a short vertical with capacity top loading for upper UHF/microwaves, but cant track the design down. Looks like the slot in the top disc is just stamped out for the vertical section, or it there more to the design? Thanks.
