i have a pir which gives a closed going open contact. My problem is that i need two independant outputs to trigger two devices. when i loop through both devices - throught the closed going open, only one will trigger. Does any one know of a solution which preferably does not use power

I was thinking either "passive infrared" or "photo infrared". I just want to make sure I was clear on what was meant.

Sorry, i was referring to Passive infra red - alarm sensor

 

I suppose you could pass current through your normally open contacts (assuming you are referring to a relay) and use the interruption to trigger your two external events. As to using no power, that restriction makes it impossible to devise any external circuit. A device may use very little power, but it will need some in order to function.
