I have two capacitors in series problem is I have 3 legs now .do the twisted pair legs go to emitter and single leg go to the collecter? Or two single pins go to emitter and collecter?

Capacitors in series are treated like resistors in parallel. I have no clue what you are getting at with emitter and collector? Try to better explain exactly what you are doing and maybe post a circuit.

If you attach the circuit, maybe it will be more easy to understand.
If you in series with capacitors then you should in parallel a resistor for each capacitor, the current flows through the resistor as 1~10mA, if you don't do that, the capacitor may not damaged quickly, but if you do it then it will keep the capacitor live longer, of course the rated voltage also should be concerned.
