Hi I am new here.
My uncle has a pizza with a Lincoln 369803 CONTROL CONVEYOR CL ADV 403011 board that has an issue. I am hoping someone can help me to Identified a part on the board. It kind of looks like a regulator style surface mount chip. The marking on it is C5 43. I try to search this part out but I can not find any data on it. I know it runs though the MIN pot then into the LM324 chip. if anyone has any information please let me know. The part is located behind C2 on the board. Usually I am lucky to find information on SMD at this web site. http://smdcode.com/en/
Thanks
JJ

I found photo of the board before the surface mount parts were used on it. The marking beside it is VR1 which verified that it is a regulator.

I am thinking that with the C5 on it that it could be a 5 volt regulator. Maybe MC33275ST might work in its place.

@dorato ,
From the picture, it looks like a SOT23-4 package -- when you google, you can try including different variations of that along with the top-side markings. Unfortunately, without a manufacturer's mark, it becomes almost impossible to positively identify. But if you can narrow your search down to a few suspected parts, it can be confirmed.
What is the issue with the conveyor that makes you think this particular part is defective? I found some service and parts manuals here: http://www.partstown.com/lincoln/lin369803, which includes the Technical Service Hot Line: (800) 678-9511 and a troubleshooting guide that appears to be quite thorough. You might be able to find something that addresses the issue with your product.
You stated above you thought it was a 5V regulator. How are you determining this? Are there other parts on the board that you can find? For example, if this is feeding an IC you can find the datasheet for, then you can make some better guesses about the Voltage and Current requirements from that product's datasheets.

Good luck.

Okay I spent some times tracing out the circuit to a cad program. Here is why I am thinking it is a regulator. And also I found on line an older board that had feed through parts and it was mark as VR1.

I marked the part as C5 43? in the drawing.

First I want to thank all that replied to my post. Since I had trouble figuring out the part My uncle purchase a new one. When It came in I test across the part and to my surprise I was right. It is a 5 volt regulator and it was bad. I ordered a MC33275ST from Digikey and replaced the old one with the new part and the board now works.
Thanks again for the replies.

Glad you got a happy ending on that -- sorry no one knew the answer without having to purchase another.

At least now he has a spare and I made notes on the circuit for further trouble shooting for him.And I don't mind sharing what I found for other people that might have a problem.
