What I mean by is the silicon used to seal glass or house hold stuff, It can adhere well.
and will hold the fan to the sink perfectly, I do this quite often
how long does it take to stick? cause it says it for glass and stuff.
used silicon for regulator. thought it was like horizontal output transistor or FET's on the power supply that are along heat sink
Are u sure that the fan is OK.
If you can measure 5V between ground and left pin that ur reg setup is fine,
I think ur fan is a dud.
Now it wouldn't hurt to try the white wire as a 5V input.
Disconnect red wire and connect white wire instead.
Cut the connector an just twist the wires to test the fan. if it work put some solder on to the joint and insulate it.
Are we still repairing the T.V., If so you need flash the pictures
on 50" plasma screen. Make a class room, have him buy more
test equipment. His parents can sell the house for money.
You have so many viewer's,some one should be able to draw
a diagram.
about to head to school. been studying for test tomorrow. buying new silicon today. cheapest one i can find. unless i can just tape it for now or is the fan going to be permanent
finished my test. but have puppy class in 2 hours. and yes tape holds it fine for now unless permanent i will buy some sealant. soldering the wires together. what's next?
Since you said the shield get's too hot to touch, we are going to see what happens if we cool it down.
Connect all the cable properly and power up
See how hot the heat sink gets.
Keep in mind that the black connector connecting the LCD and Board which we refer as the LVDS connector is firmly held in place.
i still can't get the lcd screen back. been bending the pins on LVDS. they don't have to be like perfect right?
they are all pretty straight so i don't see why i am not getting a picture.
