Hi Everyone,

I am new fairly new to building electronics. I have been working on DSO 138 kit and for the life of me can't get it working. I get a voltage going into the first diode by power supply, but then nothing further on board. Have checked components and solder connections to no avail. Has anyone worked with one of these? Any tips?

Have you soldered before?
It looks like you have used too much solder.
Look for a solder bridge between a solder pad and the ground plane.

Make sure D2 is installed correctly. Then check the solder joint on the cathode. If that checks out, remove power from the circuit and check the resistance from TP20 to ground.

Thanks, will check D2.

I am still working on my soldering technique, so yeah it is a little excessive. I have checked for bridges, but don't seem to see any.

Appreciate the suggestions.
