I have an SMD trimmer pot but I don't like it when I twist the knob it swiftly goes to the end. I want it to be on positions. Where can I find 2, 3 or 4 positioned trimmer pots? I usually find some bigger potentiometers with positions most of the time.

 

thre are none like that, there are however 5 and 10 turn pots with indicaating knobs. for an arangement like shown, I would use several pots and a switch, switch between pots.

 

You want pot that snaps in position?You can use Rotary switch and resistors of different value in series with every position of the switch.

 

If you want known preset positions there is also miniature PCT rotary slide switches of various number of positions that could be set up with fixed resistor values.
