Hello , I have a trimmer (knob variable resistor )
Unfortunately when I turn the knob it resistance turns in a very high rate .
Is the a trimmer for example of 1Kohm
Which will cover its range in 5 times more turns than usual?
Thanks.
Please clarify - what is your question? Typically a trimmer is used to adjust a fixed resistor value placed in series with it. The trimmer should not be more than 1/10 the value of the fixed resistor. You can get single turn, 10 turn, 20 turn and sometimes other values to go from around zero to their specified resistance. What is your application and what range of adjustment are you looking for?
Re-phrase your question?
"knob" trimmers ? multi-turn pots? trimpots ?
Each mean something slightly different.
How to avoid or use of trimpots with high precision?
How to optimize sensitivity, accuracy and stability with environmental conditions with precise easy adjustments?
What features are important? performance, cost , stability?
