Please! i need someone to help and teach me how to measure a transistor collector current, base current, collector-emmiter voltage and circuit resistance load by using a digital multimeter.

Hi Muhammad:

This can depend on the circuit configuration. However....in a common emitter amplifier, the emitter current is equal to the Base plus the Collector current. If there is an emitter resistor (a resistor between emitter and ground) you're in luck. You can measure the voltage across that resistor and figure out the current by ohm's law. Same thing with the collector. You can measure the voltage across the load resistance (between the collector and Vcc) and use ohm's law to determine that current. The BASE current always has to be the difference between the two!
