I have an old electronic organ from brand Yamaha, need to replace 2 pcs transistor; on body marked A672 2-E . Can't find alternative searching on the internet . I suspect it is a NPN type as I have between middle +pin and one side -pin 0.677VDC (on diode check) . The other outer pin gives 0V to middle ( ? suspect that is the broken circuit) .

Hello,

The A672 is most likely an 2SA672.
The 2S prefix often is not printed on the parts.
The 2SA672 is a PNP transistor.
There is a shortform datasheet with some replacements in the attached PDF.

Thanks for the info. I got the BC560 but 2 unclear points :
1/ when checking by meter ( Diode check) current flow is opposite to original ,
2/ how to mount ? original A672 is square form, BC560 is has round off shape . So how to judge the pointing. On the board, between 2 holes, there is white dot . No idea what the dot refers to .
