What a fine euphemism for "murderous"....economically unsustainable...
No! We need to know who they are.Publicly advocating socialism should be criminalized.
Sure they do. They are the ones that are left after you murder the "wrong ones".Sorry, "the right people" don't exist.
... that too ...What a fine euphemism for "murderous".
kvWith socialism (stage 5) the final oppressive class is overthrown and society is put under the dictatorship of the proletariat and thus advances into communism (stage6). The first three stages are not given particular attention, since by Marx's time they had long come to pass.
Emphasis mine. No good deed goes unpunished.Smurfit Kappa said it has been providing goods and services to its customers in Venezuela for almost 80 years giving employment to almost 1,600 direct employees.
During that time Smurfit Kappa has operated to "the highest business and ethical standards", invested significant amounts of capital in its business, developed a highly progressive Corporate Social Responsibility program and dedicated significant financial support and resources to the education and health of the less privileged members of the communities in which the company operates.
It wouldn't be the first time someone was "killed by kindness". My mother told a story about a wife that grew tired of hubby's perpetual drunkeness and rather that giving him an "intervention" (which was unheard of at the time), she bought him a barrel of whiskey. He was soon dead. She was not prosecuted even though everyone knew what she had done.https://apnews.com/9d95a99f8a424acab95ade3cdee6b99b
It's his money so let him have it. Broke or OD'd in two weeks tops.

One of my favorite western short stories is about the barkeep disgusted with the wagon drivers helping themselves to his whiskey shipments. So he orders a shipment of methanol. Same outcome as above.Neat idea.
I'm gonna ask my wife for a keg of Guinness. There are worse ways to go.
Gurbaksh Chahal, founder of online advertising companies Gravity4 and RadiumOne, sobbed while asking San Francisco Superior Court Judge Tracy Brown for leniency.
Chahal was charged with felony domestic violence in 2013 after police say he punched and kicked his girlfriend 117 times inside his San Francisco penthouse. Security camera video evidence of the attack was deemed inadmissible after a judge ruled police had obtained it without a warrant. With no video and after his girlfriend declined to cooperate with police, Chahal pleaded guilty in 2014 to two misdemeanor battery charges of domestic violence and was sentenced to three years probation.
A new printing technique designed at Harvard University's engineering school uses sound waves to control and fire droplets from a nozzle with incredible force, allowing researchers to print with liquids thicker and more viscous than ever before.
Honey, stem-cell-based inks and liquid metals all printed fluidly using these vibrations, which come from acoustic techniques that researchers had previously used to levitate liquids, not print with them.
I don't believe that such a trigger point exists. Civilization, by its very nature, is a self-defeating concept. Hence we are on a never-ending cyclical journey, with different regions being in different points of the cycle at any given time and rotating at different rates. But in every part of that journey there are those, usually due to ignorance and one-level-deep thinking, that believe that people will behave the way they would like them to behave, if only given a chance. To those people, socialism is a panacea because, once we get rid of the selfish capitalists that have been stealing the wealth from the people, everyone will joyously labor, with smiles on their faces and songs on their lips, in solidarity for the greater good. This will be led, of course, by selfless heroes who will guide the economy and determine just what everyone should be making so as to provide happiness for all.Venezuela isn't the first country to try socialism. It won't be the last. What is the trigger point where socialism is relegated to the annuls of history and only talked about when using it as an example of bad government.
According to Arthur C Clarke, communism is indeed the perfect form of government... that is for insects, such as ants and bees ... for all other higher life forms, a more complex (and unique) social structure applies.everyone will joyously labor, with smiles on their faces and songs on their lips

PHILADELPHIA --
The attorney for Philadelphia homeless man John Bobbitt, whose act of kindness led to a $400,000 GoFundMe fundraiser to presumably help him, said all of the cash raised in his client's name is gone.
Attorney Chris Fallon said he found this out during a conference call with the attorney for Kate McClure and Mark D'Amico on Tuesday morning.
An attorney for the couple, Ernest Bradway, has declined comment.
Kate McClure shielded her face as she drove away from her Florence Township, New Jersey home. She did not respond to questions about the money.
... having to think in another language requires more cognitive power. And by having to think it through more thoroughly, you're more likely to make a rational decision.
Does thinking in Texan count?Another excellent reason to learn a second language:
