I do not disagree with science. Just some matters.
Like say for example...loosing the atmosphere or the sun flares destroying the earth's magnetic field.
It's not gonna happen.

This world is not prepared for that but those things happens for us to learn from them. There is a reason behind it.
Most of u take what scientists say for granted.
There are lot of things that scientists said that we do not understand. It does not mean that they are true. Some terms are put out of context by them and U all believed it for the fact that you cannot prove it otherwise. But can they prove it...no.

For scientific facts that are founded by scientists aren't truly their findings, but they are facts they took from the Quran itself..No matter how long you deny it, it is true. Scientists are full off lies. They never found anything so to say. For what they say has been written down 1400 years ago. Look for it and you will find it.If you dare to look than you will find answers, but you rather not. You would want to believe what science said something about something that science cannot really explain. It all finally ends up to ones belief.

One more thing that you cannot grasp is that life is a test.. Things don't happen for you just like that. Everything is laid out and planed for each and everyone of us. Life can test some till they die, life can test some within years and be rewarded. No one can tell what his/her future lies in front. Whether you believe or not you will be rewarded for your deeds. Bad or good, it always comes back to you ten fold. what happens to you are truly due to your actions of ur past. For us it is how steady we are in our belief, how much we can hold onto it in the most difficult times. There are times that we too will break in tears and hate and put our belief aside and it is this moment that we have to be really strong, for these are the test that is prepared for us humans

No, science is not from the Quran, or Bible or anything. I have never read these books. But when the Bible goes as far as to claim to can cure leprosy by:

"This shall be the law of the leper. Get two birds. Kill one. Dip the live bird in the blood of the dead one. Sprinkle the blood on the leper seven times, and then let the blood-soaked bird fly away. Next find a lamb and kill it. Wipe some of its blood on the patient's right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle seven times with oil and wipe some of the oil on his right ear, thumb and big toe. Repeat. Finally find another pair of birds. Kill one and dip the live bird in the dead bird's blood. Wipe some blood on the patient's right ear, thumb, and big toe. I'm sure there are similar things in the Quran but I haven't read it as I said.

Rifaa, you base a lot of your personal beliefs on religion, to the exclusion of many facts. The facts are there, they don't change, and generally when this has happened in western history it was religion than had to change.

Fact, if land based glaciers melt into the ocean sea levels will rise. Fact, glaciers are melting at a accelerating rate, this is firmly documented. The cause is not important, the events are happening as we speak.

Some not too far off speculation suggests the antarctic ice sheet could slide off the land mass into the sea. If this happens the sea rise will be measured in feet, not inches or cm, as is happening now.

You may deny a train is coming straight at you, but faith is not the answer. Moving out of the way is the solution. Unlike Tom, I am a believer, but I also believe God helps those who help themselves.

I'm not scared by 2012, there is far too much hype about it.

My response was stating that nothing is "impossible" when trying to guess what the future will hold for us.

I'll be set either way. It's the people in large metro areas that will suffer most if something major does occur.

There are several possibilities: Asteroid impact gets a lot of mention, yellowstone is "overdue" (one thing that would end me), Other large volcanos near populated areas are showing activity, some say ice age is pending, some say manmade global warming is coming (how do those two both get predicted???), then you have the standard epidemic that we aren't prepared for, Limited or full nuclear war, plain old fashioned war on a WW II scale, etc.

Saying "I guarantee we will be just fine in 2012" is on the naive side of saying "something might happen, using history as a teacher".

But of course Kevin Costner in 'Water world' .Now you see what happens when the sea level rises.

Including 'The wizard of Oz' "We are not in Kansas anymore" - Winner line.

 

Water world is purest fantasy. If the sea level raises two feet a lot of people will be refugeed, but there is no way water will cover the earth. I suspect the writers never heard of mountains. Ten feet would be worse, but still in the realm of an inconvenience.

People will die, countries may fall, but in the long term it is not going to threaten the human race. It does remind me of Superman, where Lex Luthor was going to get rich making new beach front property he owned.

The Yellowstone scenario is scary. The USA will be history, but no one on Earth is going to be happy. Figure we'll loose about half the worlds population, maybe more. It is on par with a asteroid collision.

IMO, 2012 sucked. You can't make a good film with virtually no plot and just special effects. The Matrix series is good and well written though.

Out of all of them, possibly Deep Impact (because at least that had a vague concept of a plot), but they all really sucked. I don't think I've watched Mad Max though.

I have read the Qur'an, many of the Hadith, the Torah, the Old Testment, New Testament (several versions), the Bhagavad Gita, the Adi Granth, the Book Of Morman and others.
