Are you talking about when the Earth's magnetic field flips? This happens. According in the latest research, it happens on average every 375 thousand years. Right now we are about 275 thousand years overdue and there has recently (in the last 75 years) been a huge increase in the rate at which the poles have been drifting. These polarity changes are typically accompanied by long periods of highly reduced or, at best, ambiguous global magnetic field. Solar flares do not destroy the Earths magnetic field, it does this all by itself. During these transition times, the earth is exposed to all the particle radiation from the sun. When it happens it will be, shall we say, a major inconvenience to humans.I do not disagree with science. Just some matters.
Like say for example...loosing the atmosphere or the sun flares destroying the earth's magnetic field.
It's not gonna happen.
