Can we use TE antenna for receiver? Because I have seen that TE antenna is used in transmitters and for receivers spring coil antenna is used.
The reason that I have asked this question is I have seen a telescope antenna in the security system control panel board. And because they are receiver of motion detectors, I got this question to ask.

Can we use both to increase the range as it is seen in this board? if so how can we add both to make high range transmitter.

 

I really don’t know what you are getting at. A telescoping antenna is used because:

1. It can be collapsed for easier storage or transport.

2. The length can be easily changed for different frequencies.

It is not the best or longest range antenna.
